About Us

The Sentinella began its life in 2004, as one magazine distributed across the Axarquia region of Spain, on the Costa del Sol.

Now, six years later, there are four separate editions of The Sentinella, distributed across the Costa del Sol (Malaga) and the Costa Tropical (Granada).

We have quickly grown into the leading group of expat magazines in Southern Spain, loved by readers and advertisers alike.

The Sentinella Axarquia edition is distributed from Nerja to Benarajafe on the Costa del Sol, plus all towns and villages inland of this region, including Lake Viñuela, Competa, Torrox, Riogordo and Colmenar.

The magazine is distributed from the 1st of each month. We deliver 7,000 copies to bars, restaurants, hotels, tourist offices, town halls and any businesses where English-speaking people frequent.
